The Centre for Endocrinology, Diabetology, Rheumatology Dr. Demtröder & Colleagues in Hansakontor and in Klinikum Dortmund diagnoses and treats the entire spectrum of hormone related diseases and metabolic disorders on an interdisciplinary basis for both inpatients and outpatients.

Focus

  • Dysfunction of the thyroid gland, pituitary/ hypothalamic gland, adrenal glands, endocrine tumors
  • Metabolic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, adipositas, lipometabolism disorders
  • Hormone disorders in men and women such as PCO syndrome, hirsutism, hypogonadism
  • Osteoporosis, disorders of the calcium/bone metabolism and parathyroid gland
  • Rheumatology: e.g. polyarthritis, spondylarthritis, psoriasis, arthrosis, collagenosis

We cooperate closely with the departments Laboratory Medicine and Medical Genetics at the MVZ Dr. Eberhard & Partner Dortmund to provide integrated care, but also with the specialist departments at Klinikum Dortmund. In the case of young patients we work very closely with the Hormone Centre for Children and Adolescents in Dortmund. 


Our Centre for Endocrinology, Diabetology, Rheumatology Dr. Demtröder & Colleagues holds quality certification from the German Society for Endocrinology.
